Value Letters

Similar to traceable registered mail but with an added insurance component, value letters bear a "V" etiquette as well as the stated amount of the content's value.

Obviously philatelic franking (note the simulated se-tenant aircraft), the mailer was a Swiss stamp expert -- Sfr. 6.50 franking is a Sfr. 3.20 over franking of the following correct postage:

Insurance fee first 1000 francs of value: 2.00
Insurance fee next 1000 francs of value: .50
Postage to 250 grams: .80
Total needed: 3.30
