Booklets

In 1904, the Swiss PTT began issuing booklets of stamps as a convenience for their patrons. Although the booklets of definitives for daily use are very utilitarian in appearance, commencing in 1957, booklets of Pro Juventute semi-postals are packaged in attractive gold covers. They have come to be known as the “Golden Booklets.”
