Alpine Postal Buses

The deep yellow colored alpine buses operated by the Swiss Post Office to carry both mail and passengers to remote alpine villages are well known to the Swiss visitor.

1st Winter Alpine Post over the Julier Pass, February 4, 1935. Because of bad weather, the trip was delayed by one day.
