AHPS Sales Circuit Notes

AHPS sales circuits are a service which allows members to buy needed material or to sell material in which they have lost interest. AHPS circuits are specialized. They usually contain mostly material from only one or two related categories of the forty itemized in the circuit participation form. Members therefore will receive circuits which contain mostly material in which they have a direct interest.

Circuits contain stamps and /or covers ranging in price from 20 cents to $400 or more per item, usually with a nice distribution and something for everyone. Prices are generally less than one would pay at a bourse or to a mail order dealer. In addition to broad selections and very reasonable prices, circuit buyers have the luxury of being able to carefully review and evaluate possible purchases in their home at their leisure.

Sellers can buy sales books for 75 cents or $1.50 each, postpaid, depending on size with a minimum order of $3.00 and pay only a 12% commission on sales. Earned commissions after expenses are returned to the AHPS treasury. Sellers are encouraged to submit books with only one or two closely related categories. Material from all categories is welcome, except for post-1960 first day covers.
